ABOUT ME......

Oke, my name is Dianna (also Dakotawolf) and I was born in North Dakota. My mother was Blackfeet Indian. I am very proud to be a native american and I am very proud of how the native american people treat our earth. I started tracing my family roots years ago and haven't had to much luck on my grandmother side...if anyone can help me with the surname: "Rakestraw" (my grandmother's maiden name) that would be great. She was born in White County, IL. but died in Spartenburg, S.C. Her full name was :
Merinda Elizabeth Rakestraw. (other surnames: Morris, Shay,, Hanson, Ellis, Montgomery) I now live in California and have for many years, but all my relatives are still in North Dakota and Minnesota. I am very interested in learning everything about the hertiage of the Blackfeet Tribe. My hobbies are working on my native american dreamcatchers, each one is very special to me and no two are alike.
